About Us

Originally founded in the 1950's as one of the first 3 Beach Lifesaving Clubs in Britain, the club closed in the late 1970's as it did not start a nipper and junior development programme.

In 2012 the club reformed with rapid growth and has not looked back. We now deliver several sea and pool sessions a week, providing First Aid, surflife safety and competition training for various events throughout the year, as well as provide water and land based safety cover for events such as Paddle Round The Pier and The Brighton Triathlon. Take a look at our Services page to find out what we can do for your event.

Our ethos is to provide people of all ages the opportunity enjoy the sea in a fun and safe environment, with great training, equipment and a variety of membership types.
